Asian Salad Dressing
This is the famous soy salad dressing that we were all addicted to for awhile. I think it’s time to re-discover it. Tastes so tangy and good on crisp romaine stalks.
ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (or more)
- 1/4 cup peanut oil (or less)
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup and 2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
- juice of 1 med lemon
- salt and pepper to taste
directions
Whisk ingredients together. Taste and adjust as needed. Add salt and pepper last to adjust the taste. The first “pour” of the dressing gets most of the peanut oil whereas subsequent pours gets more soy sauce, so whisk vigorously before pouring on your salad. Toss and eat!
notes
I prefer less peanut oil. Add baby mandarin oranges, crunch noodles, and some grilled chicken to this salad.
