Chimi Churri Sauce
Zoë acquired this recipe from a friend who attended a cooking school. She’s gotten quite adventurous in her ethnic cooking!
ingredients
- 1 bunch Parsley leaves
- 2-3 T. oregano leaves
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
- 2-4 garlic cloves, peeled and cut in 1/2
- 1/2 - 1 t. red pepper flakes
- 1/2 medium lemon, zested
- 1/4 c. red onion minced (optional)
- 3/4 - 1 c. olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
directions
Stagger layer all ingredients, except oil, into food processor. Process, pour in oil and puree until desired smoothness. Salt and pepper.
