Refrigerator Mashed Potatoes
These are the only way we serve mashed potatoes since Grandma Barb English found this recipe back in 1989. These are great for Thanksgiving and Christmas because you can make them several days ahead and just heat and serve the day you need them letting you spend more time with your guests and family!
ingredients
- 5 Lbs, White Potatoes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 6-8 oz cream cheese
- 2 Tbs butter salt and Pepper to taste
directions
Peel and cook potatoes until done. Drain and Mash until smooth. Add rest of ingredients and whip with electric mixer until fluffy. Will keep up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. Just heat to serve in microwave or oven.
