Glazed Ham
ingredients
- 1 (8 lb.) bone-in shank ham
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pinch of ground cloves

1. Preheat oven to 275°. Place ham in roasting pan; pour in water to 2 inch depth. Cover with tight fitting lid. Bake for 6-8 hours.

2. Remove from oven; pour off drippings and reserve. Debone ham, removing any excess fat as well and return to roasting pan.

3. Skim fat from top of drippings and discard. In a small bowl, mix 1 cup of the drippings with honey, brown sugar, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce and cloves. Pour this over ham; cover and return to oven. Remaining drippings may be discarded.

4. Bake for another 30-40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
