Hello Dollies
This is a delightful 1960’s dessert or snack my mother, Lenuiel Louise Byers, made for us kids for special occasions. It was really worth the wait till the next time we were allowed to have them.
ingredients
- 1 stick margarine
- 1-cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 can of coconut
- 1 cup nuts, {I use pecans or walnuts}
- 1 - 6 ounce package of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 – can of sweetened condensed milk, {I use eagle brand milk}
directions

Melt butter in a 9 x 9 pan, add graham cracker crumbs & press down a little. Add other ingredients as they are listed in order above, ending with pouring the sweetened condensed milk over the top. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 30 minutes. Cool in pan & cut into squares.
