Gorgonzola Cheese Grits
I once served these grits over a spicy apple glazed chicken. The grits were such a hit that my friend serve them over filet and fish too!
ingredients
- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans of fat free, less-sodium chicken broth
- 3/4 cup uncooked quick cooking grits
- 1 cup (4 oz.) crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- 1/3 cup fat free sour cream
- 1/4 cup tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup fresh ground pepper
directions
Bring the broth to a boil in a medium saucepan, gradually add grits, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low, simmer, covered, for 5 mins. or until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in remaining ingredients.
