Pecan Puffs
ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened to room temperature
- 2 TBSP. confectioners powdered sugar, 10 xxx, & extra for rolling finished treats in
- 1 tsp. real vanilla flavoring
- 1 cup self-rising flour, sifted
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 300-degrees: mix butter, sugar & vanilla thoroughly, stir in flour, slowly to incorporate well, & then add nuts, stirring well to insure even mixture. Place on a buttered cookie sheet & bake 30 minutes, remove & roll in confectioners’ sugar. Allow to cool, once cool, re-roll in confectioners sugar. ***Note*** These treats are delicate but well worth the time & attention.
