Mom's Easy Beef Vegetable Soup
This is a quick and easy soup for a cold winter day
ingredients
- 2 pounds of very lean ground round beef
- 1 package dry Lipton soup
- 4 cups water
- 4 cans of beef broth
- 4 cups water
- 1 large can of crushed tomatos
- 1 pound frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup rice
directions

Mix all ingredients together except rice and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Add 1 cup of instant or quick rice, and cook until rice is tender.

Serve with crackers or bread. Keeps well for a second meal.
