POT-FRIED CABBAGE
ingredients
- 1 head of Cabbage, cored and cut into chunks 1 1/2 squares
- ~8 slices Bacon, cut into 1/4 inch slivers
- Collard Greens, fresh or frozen, chopped
- 2 medium Tomatoes cut in chunks
directions
Cook bacon in Dutch oven or large soup pot until well done. Remove and drain bacon bits, leaving grease in pot. Stir in cabbage and turnip greens; cook until fork-tender. Add tomatoes and heat a few more minutes. Prior to serving, stir in bacon bits.
