HEAVENLY CHUNKY-CHEWY CHOCOLATE COOKIES

Just double it NOW! Try serving as an ice cream sandwich. Don’t overcook- these are made to be chewy.

  • Preheat oven to 350 deg F. Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt into a bowl.

  • Gently melt the dark chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water or in a microwave on medium power.

  • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, then beat in the eggs, vanilla and melted chocolate.

  • Stir the chocolate chips and white chocolate chunks into the creamed mixture. Mix well then add the flour. Stir well.

  • Line 3-4 large baking sheets with waxed paper and place 30 heaped tablespoons of the cookie mix on the trays. Bake for 10 mins.

  • Cool slightly for several minutes then remove with spatula onto wire cooing rack.
