Louisiana Blue Crab Cakes
This is one of my favorite dishes to make for parties and other events that everyone loves and enjoys.
ingredients
- 1 egg
- 16 oz.(1 lb) of blue crab meat
- 1 cup of mayo
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper
- 1 cup of bread crumbs (italian)
- half of chopped white onion
- 2 chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- 1 tablespoon of heavy whiping cream
- 1 teaspoon of shrimp and crab boil
- 1 1/4 teaspoon of limeon juice
- 1 tablespoon of cajun seasoning\
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
directions

Mix crab meat, bread crumbs, flour, onions, seasonings, mayo, and mustard together in mixing bowl. Beat the egg up in a separate dish, then add it with the cream, crab boil, limeon juice, and one tablespoon of olive oil in with the other ingredients.

mix all of the ingredients together with a spoon or by hand with rubber gloves on.

heat the other 2 tablespoons of olive oil up in a skillet until hot. Take about a hand full of the cake mixture and form them into little cake patties, or into size desired. Place each patty one inch apart from each other in the pan. Let cook until gloden brown on medium-high heat.
