Candied Sweet Potatoes
A Thanksgiving favorite.
6 medium sweet potatoes, cooked and peeled
¾ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
¼ cup butter or margarine, cut into pieces
½ cup miniature marshmallows
Cut sweet potatoes in ½-inch slices. Ending with sugar and butter, layer potatoes in buttered 1-½ quart casserole with brown sugar, salt, and butter. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees till glazed, about 30 minutes. Add marshmallows last 5 minutes; brown lightly.
