Josh's Macaroni & Cheese
ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup cooked elbow macaroni (or other shape pasta)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion (optional)
- 8 ounces shredded or cubed sharp cheddar cheese

Cook pasta in salted water until tender. Drain. In saucepan melt butter, blend in flour, salt and dash of pepper. Add milk, cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add onion and cheese, stir until melted.

Mix cheese sauce with pasta. Put in buttered or “pamed” casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes, or until heated thorough.
