Green Bean Casserole

You may substitute canned for frozen beans if you prefer a less crunchy texture.

  • 1 (10¾ oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

  • 3 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen French style green beans, thawed

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained

  • 1 can french fried onion rings

  • 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion

  • Mix green beans, mushroom soup, garlic, water chestnuts and ⅓ french fried onion rings in a large bowl. Salt and pepper to taste.

  • Pour into casserole dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Circle casserole with remaining onion rings and brown.
