Brandy Balls

  • In 2 quart pan combine milk and chocolate chips and melt over low heat until smooth and thick. Remove from heat, add wafers, sugar, half the nuts, and brandy. Mix well. Let stand for 30 minutes at room temp.

  • Shape into balls. Crush remaining nuts and roll brandy balls in them.

  • Refrigerate one hour before serving. Keep refrigerated.

You can use either Brandy or Rum. These do need some time to set up so it is best to make them the night before. If you don't care for walnuts, the balls can be rolled in confectioners' sugar or cocoa powder.
