Longer-Cooked, Very Garlicky Marinara Sauce
ingredients
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3/4 cup finely minced garlic
- 2 (28-oz) cans tomatoes in tomato puree
- 6 cups water
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
