PUMPKIN CHIFFON PIE
A light take on the the traditional pumpkin pie.
ingredients
Filling- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 c. (l lb.) pumpkin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 egg whites
- 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tb. dark molasses
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- For Garnish:
- whipped cream
- walnut halves
- 1 c. uncooked rolled oats
- 2/3 c. minced walnuts
- 3 T. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. butter
