- 1/2 packet Montreal Steak seasoning (about 1-2 Tbsp., to taste)

- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 pound chicken breast tenders
directions

Heat several inches of oil in deep pot to 375°.
- 2
In large ziploc bag, combine flour and steak seasoning. Using a rolling pin, gently cursh cereal into coarse ground crumbs. Mix egg and buttermilk in a shallow bowl. Soak a few chicken tenders in buttermilk mixture, then toss in seasoned flour mix. Shake off excess flour and dip in buttermilk mix again. Toss in cereal crumbs. Repeat with remaining chicken tenders. Fry in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
