Don’t be nervous about the combination this is easy and tastes great!

ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp - peeled, cooked and tails removed
  • 1 pineapple, cut into 1 inch squares
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Chinese chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • Tooth Picks

directions

    1. Combine soy sauce, chili sauce and chili powder in a small bowl - taste. You don’t want it so hot you can’t eat it but hot enough to notice.

    2. Place shrimp in a large bowl and coat with sauce. Let sit for up to an hour.

    3. Make an assembly line - first tooth picks, then shrimp, pineapple and a serving dish.

    4. To assemble, place a shrimp and pineapple cube on a tooth pick and place in the dish, stick end up.

  • 5

    It is as easy as that! The pineapple cuts the heat of the shrimp for a fun and different party snack.
