  • 1 1/4 cups whipping cream
  • 1 1/4 cups half and half
  • 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/4 pounds turnips, peeled, halved, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cream style horseradish
  • 1 tsp minced fresh rosemary or 1/2 tsp dried
