Thanksgiving Stuffing
ingredients
- 1 head celery, chopped
- 1 med onion, chopped
- 1 stick butter
- 3 tsp ground thyme
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 16 cups day old, dried bread
- Chicken broth

Melt butter in pan and sweat vegetables. Add spices. In a bowl, combine bread with spice/butter mixture. Add chicken broth until stuffing reaches desired moistness.

Cook at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes
notes
Can use other herbs (sage, rosemary). Can use mixture of cornbread and white bread, and mixture of dry and fresh bread. My mother uses more butter, less broth.
