ingredients

3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cup chopped dates (8 oz.)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts

directions

Beat eggs with sugar until thick. Add dry ingredients; beat until smooth. Add dates, vanilla, and nuts. Bake in greased and floured 9x13 pan at 350° (325°for glass) for 30 minutes.

While warm, cut into squares.

When cool, roll in powdered sugar.
