The Cheesecake
This recipe has been in my family for many years. It was given to my mom by a woman of Pennsylvania Dutch heritage. This cheesecake is a cross between German and New York cheesecakes.
ingredients
- The Crust:
- 8 whole Graham Crackers
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/3 cup Melted Butter
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- The Filling:
- 12 oz. Cream Cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- The Topping:
- 8 oz. Sour Cream
- 5 tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. Lemon Juice
