Pecan Tassies
ingredients
Filling- 1/4 C white Karo syrup
- 3/4 C brown sugar
- 3/4 C crushed pecans
- 1 egg
- 1 Tb softened butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- dash of salt
- 1 C flour
- 1/4 C plus 3 Tb butter
- 3 oz cream cheese

Combine ingredients for shells. Shape dough into balls then refrigerate while making filling.

Mix filling ingredients together until well blended.

Place dough balls into a greased tart pan, shaping each ball to form a shell. Spoon mixture into shells (you might have some left over). Bake at 350*F for 20 minutes. Let cool completely before removing from pans.
