Cool, Crisp, and Crunchy!

ingredients

  • 1 package of broccoli slaw or coleslaw
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 3/4 c. sunflower seeds
  • 8 green onions, chopped
  • 2 packages chicken flavored Ramen noodles, broken into small pieces
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/3 c. rice wine or white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 tsp. salt

    Spray skillet with non-stick spray. On low heat lightly toast almonds and sunflower seeds.

    In a large bowl combine slaw, onions, almonds, sunflower seed, broken Ramen noodles. Set aside.

  • 3

    Discard one chicken seasoning packet from Ramen noodles. Whisk together remaining seasoning packet, vegetable oil, vinegar, sugar, black pepper and salt.

  • 4

    Pour dressing on salad right before serving. Toss well.
