Great with lobster roll sandwiches...

  • While corn is draining, mix egg, salt, milk, flour, baking powder, butter and sugar. Stir with a wooden spoon. Let sit for 5 minutes.

  • Heat fat. Drop corn mixture by teaspoonfuls into hot fat. Cook until puffy and golden brown. Only cook a few at a time to avoid crowding in the pan.

  • Drain on a paper towel. Serve warm with honey.
