Carol's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies

ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 lg box dry instant vanilla pudding
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 oz chocolate chunks
- 6 oz toffee bits
directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix butter, sugars, and vanilla until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add dry ingredients a little at a time, beat until smooth. Stir in chips, chunks and bits. Place rounded drops of batter on cookie sheet (just under 1/4 cup). Bake 8-9 minutes in preheated oven. After cooking, bang cookie sheet on counter to let air out of cookies. Cool 3 minutes and remove to wire rack.
