Holiday party favorite!
ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c Karo syrup - light
- 1 c peanut butter (reserve 1 tsp)
- 6 c Special K cereal
- 6 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
- 6 oz butterscotch chips
directions
Mix sugar and syrup over low-medium heat in a heavy saucepan til sugar disolves. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Quickly transfer to large bowl, stir in cereal (this takes muscle to stir all ogether). Press mixture into a buttered 9x13" pan.Melt choc chips, butterscotch chips and 1 tsp peanut butter in small saucepan together, spread over cereal mixture. Cool. Cut into small squares (it is very rich).
