Peanut Bars
A Miller Birthday Treat! Another one of mom’s famous recipes.
ingredients
- Crust
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 sticks of butter
- Topping
- 2 pkg butterscotch chips
- salt
- 3 T water
- 3 T butter
- 1/2 cup karo syrup (light)
- 2 cans spanish peanuts

Bake the crust for 9 minutes at 375°. Take out and cool.

Place the ingredients of the topping into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Stir constantly until smooth.

Place the spanish peanuts on top of the crust.

Drizzle the topping mixture from the outer edges to the inside.

Cool. Loosen edges while still warm.
