Sauteed Green Beans
Here is a great vegetable side dish. Kids complained at first because of the Almonds but after tasting, they cave in.
ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, Cleaned
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 garlic glove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons almonds, sliced
- 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
directions
Steam green beans, just till cooked. Rinse in cold water. In large skillet heat butter and oil, until butter is melted. Add garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 to 2 minutes). Add salt, pepper, Almonds and green beans, Saute until heated. remove from heat toss with Parmesan and serve.
