Greek Orange Spice Cookies

This recipe was handed down to me from my favorite Aunt Fran. This was her signature “gift” to all of the girls in the family for their wedding day cookie table at the reception. Aunt Fran is no longer with us, but her spirit remains. She is right there with me everytime I make a batch of these. Thanks Aunt Fran.
ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups canola or vegetable oil
- 6 Tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate, defrosted
- 1 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
- Icing:
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 5 tsp. orange juice
