Spiced Pecans
Grandma Woolley fixes these for all of us as Christmas presents every year. It’s something we ALL look forward too.
ingredients
- 1 egg white
- 1 T water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1 pound pecan halves

Preheat oven to 300°
- 2
Combine egg white and water in mixing bowl and beat at high speed until frothy but NOT stiff.

Combine sugar, salt, & cinnamon in small bowl and mix well. Add pecans to egg white and water – stir til well coated.

Pour sugar mixture over coated pecans and mix well.

Spread on a lipped baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes stirring and turning every 15 minutes. Watch closely and remove before they brown too much. Store in an airtight container.
