Aunt Marianne's Crab Cakes
ingredients
- 3 cups cooked crab meat ~ 1 lb (premium crab if using canned)
- 1/3 c fresh bread crumbs
- 2 T mayonnaise
- 2 t minced parsley
- 1 t Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 t salt
- 1/2 t dry mustard
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1 lg egg
- 3 T butter
- 2 small lemons cut in wedges
directions

1. in large bowl with fork, break crab meat into fine shreds & stir in bread crumbs

2. in a bowl, whisk remaining ingredients (except butter & lemons) & add to crab mixture

3. make 6 patties

4. bake in 350° preheated oven for 5-8 minutes until golden brown

5. drizzle with butter (melted) & garnish with lemon wedges

We've made these many times, but somehow, they never turn out as good as Marianne's
