Fettuccine with quick meat sauce

ingredients
- coarse salt and ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minces
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 pouns ground beef
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 can (28 ounces) whole peeled tomatoes in juice
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano

1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; season with salt and pepper. Cook, until onion softens, 3 to 4 minutes.

2. Add pork and beef; cook until no longer pink, 3 to 4 minutes.

3. Add wine; cook until evaporated, about 7 minutes.

4. Add tomatoes and oregano; cook until sauce is slightly thickened, 3 to 5 minutes.

Serve with fresh parmesan cheese.
