Barb’s Banana Muffins
ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup margarine softened
- 2 large bananas mashed
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Optional: 1/3 cup raisins, nuts or chocolate chips

This is a very versatile recipe. To up the nutritional punch you can add 1/4 cup ground flax seed, wheat germ, oat bran or oatmeal. You may also wish to replace half or all of the margaine with applesauce.
