- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbl baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites lightly beaten
- 2 Tbl applesauce
- 2 1/2 cups low fat buttermilk
- Optional - nuts, berries or mini chocolate chips
