Breakfast Casserole
A delicious dish for breakfast, brunch or dinner!
ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 pound bulk pork sausage or ham
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms *
- 2 tablespoons minced onions **
- Parsley flakes

Unroll crescent rolls into a 13 x 9" glass baking dish, pressing seams together. Prick dough with fork.

Cook sausage; drain. Sprinkle cooked meat on dough, top with cheeses.

Combine eggs, milk, mushrooms, and onions in large bowl. Pour mixture on top of meat and cheese. Sprinkle with parsley flakes.

Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and eggs are cooked.

* Can substitute a small can of mushrooms, drained, for the fresh mushrooms.

** Can sauté real onion with the sausage instead.
