EASY AND WONDERFUL TRADITIONAL MERINGUE COOKIE-TYPES THAT EVERYONE LOOKS FORWARD TO!
ingredients
- 2 EGG WHITES
- 1/8 tsp. SALT
- 1/8 tsp. CREAM OF TARTAR
- 1 tsp. VANILLA
- 3/4 CUP OF SUGAR
- 1 6-OZ. PKG. CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED NUTS (OPTIONAL)

BEAT EGG WHITES, SALT, CREAM OF TARTAR AND VANILLA UNTIL SOFT PEAKS FORM. ADD SUGAR, GRADUALLY BEATING UNTIL PEAKS ARE STIFF. FOLD IN CHIPS AND NUTS. (I USUALLY DON’T USE NUTS). DROP BY ROUNDED TEASPOONFULS ONTO PAPER COVERED BAKING SHEETS. BAKE AT 300 DEGREES FOR 25 MINUTES. COOL SLIGHTLY BEFORE REMOVING FROM PAPER.
