Green Beans with Zucchini
A tasty combination!
ingredients
- 4 cups fresh green beans, cut in 1-inch pieces
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 2 small zucchini, cut in 1/4" slices
- 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
directions
Place beans in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil; cook, uncovered, for 8-10 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. In a large skillet, saute onion in butter for 3 minutes. Add the zucchini; cook for 4 minutes. Stir in the bacon, beans, salt and pepper; heat through.
