ingredients
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tsp jarred garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, finely chopped
- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 cup canned crushed tomatoes
- 2 6 oz cans minced clams, drained - reserve liquid
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 12 oz linguine, cooked and drained
