Stir-Fry Beef with Asparagus

To make the beef easier to slice, partially freeze the beef for 10 to 20 minutes.

ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons extra light olive oil
  • 1 pound asparagus, cut diagonally into 1 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips 2" long
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons San-J Tamari wheat-free soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped, peeled fresh ginger
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • steamed rice, for serving
