MOM’S MOLASSES SUGAR COOKIES

This cookie has a great old fashion molasses flavor. This is an easy recipe to prepare and will be a big hit.
ingredients
- 3/4 cup shortening or butter [i use butter]
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoons ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

I remember my mother making these cookies when I was a little girl. the recipe came from my grandmother Mary Barbosa Scott from Portugal. These were my brother David's favorite cookie
