Gene's Famous Ribs
This is one the best rack of ribs I have eaten. I don’t believe in making your own seasoning or BBQ sauce when there are so many store bought options. Instead, this is just teaching you how to make the perfect rib where it’s juicy and falls off the bone.
ingredients
- 2 Racks of baby back or St Luis ribs
- 1 bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce (Sweet Baby Rays)
- BBQ Seasoning. (Penzies Northwoods)
directions

Clean the rib and dry them. Sometimes you will need to trim them a bit. Generously season the ribs with BBQ seasoning. Cook ribs by wrapping in foil at 250 degrees for 2 1/2-3 hours. Place on a sheet tray so the juices don’t drip in the oven. You can test them by slightly turning the ribs and see if they are falling apart. When they are done take them out and cool them down. Brush on the BBQ sauce, cover and refrigerate until needed.

When you are ready to serve, grill them at high heat until the BBQ sauce is nice and caramelized. Brush with a little extra sauce.
