Healthy Lentil-Veggie Soup( Fat-Free)
Its very delicious,good for anytime,any season a healthy soup to share with family.Its mainly a veggie based soup with lentils.Easy to digest with high protien and nutritive values and great taste.
ingredients
- 1 Cup of -any 3-4 type of lentils of your choice
- or If you have pack of mixed lentils that’s fine too.
- 2 Cups of finely chopped veggies of your choice
- 3. 2Cups of finely chopped fresh Tomatoes
- 4.1 cup of Cilantro to garnish
- Salt for taste.
- 5. 1 teaspoon of Turmeric
- 6.2cup finely chopped Onions
- 7.1 Cup of Tomato Sauce
- 8. !/2 Cup of Fresh lemon juice

First, wash the lentils several times in fresh water.

Let it be soaked in water for 2hrs.

Put it in crock-pot or big pot.Bring to boil on gas -stove.

Saute Onions in a separate pan,until its translucent.

Add those onions in the soup as well.

Then,let it simmer on slow for over an hour.When it is fully cooked,add cilantro to garnish.

Serve it hot with some hint of fresh lime or lemon juice.Feel free to add butter for taste too.
