- 2 C strawberries, stemmed
- 1 C sliced rhubarb (1 large rib, trimmed but not peeled)
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp currant jelly
- 1 tbsp very hot water
- Confectioners’ sugar, for dusting
- Lightly sweetened whipped cream, for serving
