Chicken, Green Beans, and Potatoes

This meal was a very quick and easy thing to put together, not to mention it only dirtied one dish! I would mix it up with different seasoning packets depending on my mood, but the Italian seasoning did add good flavor. Instead of the butter, we might try a marinade over the chicken next time.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Chicken Breasts
  • Red baby potatoes, cut into quarters
  • Green Beans (frozen, canned, or fresh)
  • 1/2 stick of melted butter
  • 1 packet of Italian dressing mix (or any seasoning mix)
Save a shopping List

directions

Arrange in 9x13 dish. Sprinkle with a packet of Italian dressing mix and then top with a melted stick of butter. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Enjoy!

    We love this recipe I have to double it when I make it for my grandsons, they love the green beans. I have also made this with boneless pork chops instead of chicken and it is very good. I tell everyone about this recipe.

    I have made this recipe a couple of times and it is delicious. It makes a good dish to take to potlucks. Michelle, in regards to your chicken being raw after the 1 hour cooking time, you might want to cut the breasts up into smaller chunks.

    So I am making this tonight and fallowed the directions to a T and even after the 1st hour the chicken is still raw plus the potatoes are still hard. Now it's in for another hour. Hopefully it's done by 10pm pst...

    Yum! I'm making it with potatoes, onions, bell peppers and zucchini. I also just used butter flavored cooking spray instead of butter/oil and about 1/2 a packet. So versatile a concept!
