Artichoke Bread
Even people who don’t like artichokes will enjoy this delicious crusty bread. The soft interior is rich with sour cream and three kinds of cheese.
ingredients
- 1 large or 2 small loaves unsliced French bread
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- Garlic salt
- 1 14-ounce can artichoke hearts, drained
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350°.

Hollow out the loaf of bread, leaving a 1/2" shell, and save the bread pieces.

In the microwave, melt margarine in a very large bowl; add sesame seeds, and garlic salt to taste. Stir in artichoke hearts, Monterey Jack cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Add bread pieces and sour cream and combine thoroughly.

Pour the combined mixture into the prepared bread shell. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Slice and serve warm.
