Wild Blueberry Tea Bread

ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk, room temperature
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh, canned, or frozen)

directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour bread pan. Beat together eggs and sugar. Blend in milk and melted butter. Mix and sift flour with salt and baking powder. Pour liquid ingredients into flour mix; blend. Fold in nuts and floured blueberries. Pour batter into pans; fill only half full. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until cake tester comes out clean.
