Spinach and Artichokes
Cousin Ronne Batt contributed this dish to a holiday dinner when Alyson was visiting Richmond. Alyson asked Ronne to send it to me so that I too can make the dish, because Alyson loved it. Ronne did and now we all love it!
ingredients
- 30 oz. frozen spinach, cooked and drained
- 10 oz softened cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup sauteed chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 15 oz cans artichoke hearts, cut into quarters
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- grated Parmesan cheese

Combine spinach, cream cheese, butter, onions, salt pepper
- 2
Place in a 6“ x 10” casserole in alternating layers with artichokes beginning and ending with the spinach. Top with the cheeses.

Bake at 350°F. for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

Ronne is Cousin Gary's wife. Cousin Gary passed away about 3 years ago. This picture is of Gary's dad, Uncle Sam, having fun at a Bernstein family gathering.
