Sasa's Baked Chicken
This amazing “fried” chicken tastes great but has no butter! It has to be tasted to be believed.
ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/3 cup cornmeal
- garlic powder
- salt and pepper
- 4-6 chicken thighs

Preheat oven to 475 degrees.

Wash the chicken thighs and salt them.

In a ziplock bag add the first four ingredients. Add the chicken to the bag and shake to coat.

Grease a heavy duty baking pan and bake the chicken thighs for 15 minutes at 475 degrees. Turn the temperature down to 350 degrees and bake for 45 minutes (or until brown).
notes
I might suggest turning the breasts halfway through cooking so that both sides brown well.
